NO CANE POLES
OR PANGAS HERE
MY BOATS
I’m proud to announce
that I guide aboard
the best flats boats made for the sport, all
are MAVERICKS, plus I had my skiffs custom
built specially for fishing this waters,
all boats are powered by Yamaha motors and
they are completely rig with: polling
towers, push poles, trolling motors,
electronics, plus they are loaded with
plenty gear for any occasion, (more than 1
ROD ready, I don’t like any surprises when
out there) if any thing shows up we’ll be
ready for it. this
STATE OF THE ART
boats feature
larger motors to cover more area in less
time and V-bow design, which substantially
reduces the wave slapping against the hull
while polling which can spook the fish
before you can get a shot at them.
The Maverick’s are the quietest and lightest
boats on the market. with it's quiet design
and lightweight maneuverability the
Maverick’s can get extremely close to,
Tarpon, Permit, Bonefish & Snook sometimes
even before they realize we are on the flat
with them,
the wide beam design provides an incredibly
stable platform from which you can make that
perfect cast, each are outfitted with rod
racks and dry storage lockers. We know how
difficult and elusive the fish behaves most
of they time, that’s why I concentrate in
putting anglers into special situations to
catch special fish. There are no other
skiffs like this in the area, that’s why no
other flats or light tackle boat can match
my skiffs for pure fishing performance and
versatility, whether you are spinning or
fly-fishing, my boats and I will do the job
with unfailing performance and reliability.
(a
good advise if you want to fish here and
target super-slam species., you better be on
a MAVERICK. Other wise forget about catching
the best fish and having a good day). All
this may not mean a lot to you, but for me
it means 90% of the fishing.
1 or 2 anglers party:
When sight-fishing is your main issue, your
fishing adventure will be done aboard my
2000, 17’
¨MAVERICK Mirage¨, powered by a 70hp.
Yamaha, Weight 525lbs, draft 6’’ inches,
cruising speed 30mlls. 42mlls. Max.
Due to the special lightweight design of
this Maverick it is rated for two anglers
only plus me the guide, 3 people aboard
max, the
best boat ever made for the sport ,period,
This is a bold statement, but it is backed
up by many of the best guides and fishermen
in the world. The ¨Mirage¨
will outperform any flats skiff on the water
in terms of quality of materials and
construction, draft, stealth, comfort,
dryness and the ability to catch fish. If
you’re considering hiring a guide to target
¨Super Slam¨ species when here, make sure
he has a ¨MAVERICK
Mirage¨
or you'll regret it every time you see a
tailing bonefish or rolling Tarpon you
cannot reach. My ¨Maverick Mirage¨ boat make
all other flats boat’s in the area obsolete.
The fish-ability of this boat is beyond
compare
And just as a comment to prove it, I have
had 2 clients make 5 slams in one day and
other angler make 3 super slams on his day,
and I have personally achieve 4 super slams
in one day off my boat, this numbers my
friend, no other guide has seen them around
here, and worst, they don’t know what a slam
is or has made one.
More than 2 anglers:
When 3 anglers are in your party, I must use
my 18’5 Maverick
¨Master Angler¨ for those situation’s, this
boat is powered by a 115hp Yamaha, weight
850lbs, draft 10’’ inches, cruising speed
36mls. 55mls. Max.
Boat
is much larger and made to handle 4 people
aboard max, but let’s make things
clear to avoid misunderstandings OK, if
you want to do
sight-fishing in shallow waters for tarpon,
bonefish, permit & snook, this would not be
possible cause draft of the boat, it’s
not conducive to fishing three anglers for
this type, because the total weight of boat
will hamper my ability to get into the
shallow water and do my intended job. I
normally fish only two anglers at a time on
my boat. So I DO NOT recommend 3 anglers
party for sight-fishing the flats, if you
just have to have a 3rd. person
aboard, whether fishing or not, an
additional 30% will be added from basic
rate, if you’re still focus in
sight-fishing, I highly recommend you to
hire a 2nd, boat for the single
angler or bring along a 4th.
Angler if possible.
This boat is more intended for anglers
looking for action rather than quality,
family trips and night trips also, this
boat is perfect for that, specially when
it’s your kids, the focus on having a good
time is main issue, There
are other species that we can fish for that
are much easier to catch and can keep much
busier with IF you're just looking for
action.
the
¨non-glamour¨ species such us Jacks,
Snappers, Ladyfish, Barracudas, Sharks and
more are plentiful as well,
It's really an issue of quality vs.
quantity of fish caught.
So
a chance for spinners or fly-fishers to
hook-up on something is almost guaranteed but
eventually we can still target the Tarpon
that hangs out in the deep channels, permit
and bonefish mudding in a deeper and
accessible flat and snook on the deeper
mangrove edges, but again, expertise on
super slam species are minimum, cause it
will all be blind fishing for them, all this info is provided cause.
My job as a guide is to match
ones angling expertise with their
expectations, so I would invite you to take
your time and think about the type of
fishing you want to do and let me know
please, so I can provide you the type of
service that matches your expectations and
we can all end-up having an awesome fishing
day.
